Where is the entrance to Pokémon GO Fest: Berlin?

There are four entrances to the Britzer Garten: TAUERNALLEE, MOHRINER ALLEE, BUCKOWER DAMM and MASSINER WEG. Please plan to arrive at your assigned entrance.

How do I find my assigned entrance to Britzer Garten?

Your entrance is mentioned in the confirmation e-mail or on the in-app ticket. Please go directly to your registered entrance, you cannot enter at the other entrances. After entering the park, you can explore all areas.

Can I enter Britzer Garten at every entrance?

No, ticket holders can only access the park at their assigned entrance. This enterance can be found in your confirmation e-mail, or on the in-app ticket.

At which time can I enter the Britzer Garten?

You can enter the Britzer Garten at your registered entrance at 8 a.m. at the earliest. Please be aware that the in-game event will not start before 9 a.m. if you registered for early admission, or 11 a.m. if you registered for general admission.

What are the transit options for Pokémon GO Fest: Berlin?

From Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER): There are several public transport options available. From the central station or the inner city, you can reach the park via public transport. Be aware that your route differs based on the choosen entrance.

Where can I participate in Pokémon GO Fest: Berlin?

The event experience is limited to Britzer Garten in Berlin, Germany.

Will the Britzer Garten be opened to visitors who are not attending Pokémon GO Fest?

No. Pokémon GO Fest is an entry-restricted event. Entrance to the Britzer Garten requires a purchased ticket. The only exceptions are park season-ticket holders – they are allowed in the park, but they will not be able to see or encounter any Pokémon related to the event unless they also have a ticket.

Event check-in

To begin your Pokémon GO Fest: Berlin experience, simply arrive at Britzer Garten on your selected date and time, and enter the event area at the entrance indicated on your ticket. Please present your ticket to the staff upon entry. Trainers who do not have a valid ticket will not be able to enter Britzer Garten.

Can I buy a ticket for several or all event days?

No. A person can only register for one specific day, not for several days.

Can I buy just a day ticket?

Yes. The ticket is only valid for a specific day during the event.

Is there a limited number of tickets for the Pokémon GO Fest?

Yes, the total number of tickets is limited.

Can I return or exchange my ticket for the Pokémon GO Fest?

The tickets are personalized, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged.

Are the tickets for the Pokémon GO Fest in Berlin personalized?

The tickets are personalized by specifying the trainer name and automatically linked to the corresponding trainer account. Exchange or transfer to a third party is prohibited.

Is there a ticket discount for children?

There is no ticket discount for children.

Is there a ticket discount for people with disabilities?

No. There are no reductions on the predefined ticket categories.

Can I take an accompanying person with me?

No. Excluded from this rule are people who are entitled to take an accompanying person with them. They must also show proof.

Can I only use the entrance to the park that is on my ticket?

Yes. Only the entrance on the ticket can be used. The entrances are assigned individually. Each entrance opens at 8:00 am. Please go directly to the entrance mentioned in the confirmation e-mail or on the in-app ticket. You can explore all the areas once you enter the park.

Can I exchange the ticket with a specific entrance for a ticket with another entrance to the park?

No. All tickets are personalized and non-transferable.

Can my child take part in the Pokémon GO Fest alone?

All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is also a ticket holder. Trainers who do not have a valid ticket cannot see or interact with Pokémon in the park.

Can I bring my child with me into the park / to the event?

Ticketed adults can be accompanied by their children under the age of 16. Unless the child has a valid ticket for themself, they cannot interact with the Pokémon GO Fest in-game activities.

Can I buy a ticket for the Pokémon GO Fest at the same day for the event?

Yes, you can buy a ticket for the event the day of, until 4 p.m. or tickets sell out. Please be aware if a certain day is already sold out, there will be no options to buy a ticket for that day.

Do I have to print my ticket for the Pokémon GO Fest?

No. To access the park, the confirmation e-mail and the in-app ticket must be shown to the security staff.

Other details

All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is also a ticket holder. Season-ticket holders are allowed in the park, but they will not be able to see or encounter any Pokémon related to the event if they don’t have a ticket to the event.

This event will adhere to local health guidelines. Please ensure you understand and follow the recommended health guidelines to protect yourself and other Trainers. Please practice physical distancing by maintaining at least 1.5 meters of space between yourself and others outside of your immediate group. If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please do not attend this event. You can find the most up-to-date local regulations here. Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present; we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed to COVID-19 during your visit. Guests should evaluate their own risk in determining whether to attend this event. People who show no symptoms can spread COVID-19 if they are infected, and any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19. By coming to the event, you acknowledge and agree that you assume these inherent risks associated with your attendance.

Britzer Garten’s general rules can be found here.

  • Motor vehicles, bicycles, and mopeds must remain outside.
  • Dogs and other animal companions are not permitted, with the exception of service animals. You may be asked to provide an official certificate to verify your dog’s status.
  • For safety reasons, not all paths are open to vehicles for driving. If you need a tricycle or an electric scooter to get around in the park, you will need to have a “G” or “BG” on your disability card. Depending on availability, wheelchairs can be arranged in advance and borrowed free of charge.
  • Children up to the age of five may take their inline skates, running bikes, scooters, and bicycles into the park at any time.
  • Open fires, barbecues (including those with gas cartridges), and shisha smoking are not allowed.
  • All dangerous objects such as knives and firearms are prohibited.
  • The park features water playgrounds and Kneipp water stations for cooling off. Swimming in lakes, streams, and Kneipp water stations is not allowed.

Nursing stations

We are proud to support those who may be nursing newborns during the event. A private lactation area is available on-site. Please visit the nearest information booth for the exact location.

Will there be lockers?

Yes, there will be locker stations at the Britzer Garten. You’ll find them near the entrances and the merchandise tent.

Trash disposal

Garbage collection and disposal is ultimately the responsibility of everyone. Any and all garbage generated during the event must be properly disposed of in garbage receptacles located throughout the park. Please dispose of your trash in the correct recycling and regular receptacles.

All ticket holders are allowed to re-enter the event throughout the day. Only ticket holders will be able to participate in the Pokémon GO Fest: Berlin event experience and its specialized elements.

Connectivity
How can I make sure, as a visitor from outside the European Union, that there are no issues with my mobile data connection at the event?

For the best possible gameplay experience at Pokémon GO Fest Berlin, we recommend international attendees to purchase SIM cards with coverage provided by Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone or Telefonica. While your non-EU carrier may be able to provide international data roaming in the EU, the speed and reliability of service may be slower compared to the service provided by German cell phone carriers. The three major carriers (Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone and Telefonica) will be selling SIM cards in Berlin’s city-center. Please note: Shops are closed on Sundays.

Pokémon GO Fest: Berlin provides accessible services for participating Trainers, including accessible entrances and restrooms. For more information, you can visit an information booth during the event. Services offered at information booths include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Accessibility to all event areas.
Attendees with mobility limitations

The Park grounds are accessible, but please be aware that this is a venue with significant distance between attractions. The full event experience is spread across six kilometers in an outdoor public area. Most travel between event attractions is over natural terrain and pathways. If it rains, there will be mud in some places. Pokémon GO Fest: Berlin does not provide personal care, golf cart rides, or push services of any kind. Wheelchairs can be arranged before the event at no charge, but will not be available without a prior reservation. Guests are encouraged to make arrangements in advance if a wheelchair is needed and should plan to bring attendants if needed. Accessible portable toilets are available at the end of each row of restrooms throughout the park.

Medical support

Any attendees who require insulin or other life-saving medication are allowed to bring their medically necessary materials and medications provided all medicine has a prescription label bearing the attendee’s name. Out of concern for the festival staff who handle the trash, attendees are expected to dispose of medical waste and syringes in the proper receptacles located at the medical area. Please do not dispose of these items in any other trash bins at the event. If additional support is required, please check in at the medical area.

Pets and service animals
Pets and service animals

Dogs and other pets are not allowed in Britzer Garten. Exceptions to this are service animals, provided an official certificate is presented. Do not capture or disturb any wildlife. Please refrain from feeding any animals within the park.

Prepackaged food and bottled water are allowed in the park. There will also be food vendors on-site.

Water

Free bottle-filling stations are located throughout Britzer Garten. Please remember to bring your own reusable water bottle.

Pokémon GO Fest: Berlin will have food vendors that provide options to accommodate a variety of dietary needs. Please visit an information booth for further information and a full list of food vendors.

The event will take place rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather. In the case of extreme weather, directions to the nearest shelters will be communicated via email and text to the attendees.
