Routes are Expanding Like Never Before!

We hope that Trainers are enjoying Routes and exploring their surroundings in brand new ways! We’ve continued to make improvements to this feature since its launch. Here are some of the updates Trainers can enjoy right now.

  • Increased Route availability across the globe.
  • A lower level requirement for Trainers to create Routes.
  • Several quality of life improvements, including seeing more Routes listed within the Nearby menu, directional arrows on Routes, and a running count of the Zygarde Cells you’ve collected shown in the Zygarde Cube details.

In the future, Trainers can expect for Routes to continue to spring up around the world as more are approved. In addition, you can look forward to the following changes.

  • More Trainers will be able to create Routes.
  • Trainers will be able to find Zygarde Cells more often while exploring Routes.
  • A new notification will be available to inform Trainers when there are Routes nearby.
  • Various quality of life improvements.

We’re excited for all that’s to come—and who knows what more is on the horizon? Be sure to check out this page to keep up to date!

Zygarde Field Report

Zygarde is a Pokémon that’s thought to monitor the ecosystem from deep in the cave where it lives.

It can change its appearance based on the number of Zygarde Cells that have been gathered. Zygarde Cells make up Zygarde, and some theorize these cells could be alive!

You’ll be able to hold Zygarde Cells in a Zygarde Cube, a device that functions like a nest for Zygarde Cells.

In its Complete Forme, Zygarde has enough power to overwhelm even Xerneas or Yveltal.

You can encounter Zygarde in the Special Research story “From A to Zygarde”!
